Achiote Whole Herb

Achiote (leaf) - Bixa orellana (Bixaceae). The leaves are used in treating the skin (infections, burns, scars), liver (hepatitis) and urinary system (diuretic). Other tribal uses include antipyretic, astringent, febrifugal.
