Trunature Plant Source Omega-3
- Made from algae, one of nature's original sources of EPA and DHA.
- 1500 mg Algal Oil containing 540 mg EPA & DHA per Serving.
Trunature Plant Source Omega-3s contain omega-3 fatty acids EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid). Research has shown that consumption of DHA and EPA helps maintain a healthy heart. In addition, EPA and DHA can help maintain healthy triglyceride levels already in normal range and support brain and eye health.
Unlike other sources of DHA and EPA, Plant Source Omega-3 is fish-free, making a great option for vegetarians, vegans and those who avoid fish in their diet. Plant Source Omega-3s are made from algae, one of nature's original sources of EPA and DHA and the primary food source for most fish. The softgel itself is also vegetarian.
Trunature Plant Source Omega-3 is also an ideal alternative for those who struggle with fish burps, or a fishy aftertaste after taking Fish Oil softgels.
Two softgels contain 540 mg of EPA and DHA, the two fatty acids shown to support heart health. Many health care professionals recommend 500 mg of EPA/DHA per day for healthy individuals and trunature Plant Source Omega-3 daily dose meets that recommendation.
